Why is there an extra fee when I bridge to a Solana wallet for the first time?

On Ethereum-based networks, tokens are assigned directly to your main wallet address. Solana works a bit differently. To hold a specific token on Solana, your wallet needs a dedicated "sub-account" for that exact asset, known as an Associated Token Account (ATA). When practicing on the Solana Testnet, you will see this ATA creation cost listed as a separate fee. However, on Mainnet, LayerZero seamlessly bundles this cost into the total upfront fee, so you don't have to worry about paying it separately.
